I'm Shelby P., the breeder behind Peach Yorkies located in Eastland, TX. Hello! My name is Shelby Pietzsch, my family and I are located in Eastland, Tx. Our puppies are raised in our home where we take special care to ensure that their health needs are met, socialize them, and begin crate and pad training. Our dogs are all registered with the AKC, the mama’s are our family dogs. Puppies are dewormed, receive their first immunizations, tails are docked and declaws are removed and they come with a limited one year health guarantee.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Since I was child I have helped my mom with her breeding program. We started with poodles and Maltese then were introduced to the Yorkie breed and fell in love! My mom has since retired her Yorkies and has helped me to be the best breeder I can be!

  • What makes your program special?

    Our breeding program is very small, as it is our family pets and they are more than just a dog to breed. I strive to make a bond that is more than just a breeder and a buyer. I want the people who buy from us to be a friend by the time their puppy is ready for their furever family.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include gold, chocolate and tan, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

  • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    I have been a Yorkie mom for two years. And I can not express enough how much I love my baby. He is the perfect dog. So lovable and loyal. And they do not shed! I love my boy so much I was thinking about getting another one so he had a bestie. I came across the good dog app and thought it was neat how you are able to see the parents and their information. Also how they get their first vaccinations, get a heath exam and even get an AKC certificate! This gave me so much peace of mind knowing I was getting a healthy puppy and knowing their background is a plus. So why did I chose to go with Shelby? Shelby is one of the kindest persons I’ve met! I did not have to ask her to FaceTime me and show me my puppy. She automatically offered and I was able to see my boy every week. She would even send me updated pictures of him throughout the weeks until I was able to take him home. I came from out of state to pick him up and had some issues getting to Texas because of the weather but she accommodated in every way possible. Even after I brought my boy home and I had questions. She was really fast on answering my questions. She made the whole experience feel easy and pleasant. It is nice to know that my puppy came from a place where they truly care of about the puppies. This is him now. He is 4.5 months now and is super playful and sweet. You can tell he received lots of love before coming home to his furever family! ♥️

    Shelby was so knowledgeable and guiding me through the process and letting me learn about the Yorkie breed. She sent current pictures and FaceTime visits. I would highly recommend her to buy your puppy my puppy is happy healthy and so precious. I actually am planning on another puppy in another year. I can’t wait and I will be back to get it from her
