I'm the breeder behind Peachey Labradors located in Iva, SC. Our dam is our beloved family pet, Maggie. We believe in responsible breeding, and bettering the Labrador breed through champion bloodlines; this means our pups will train more easily, especially as working dogs, and display higher intelligence than their average peer.
Q. & A. with Gina
Why did you start breeding?
We chose to start breeding as a means to earn an extra income to help with our kids school tuition. We’ve learned so much in the process and enjoy every step so much!
What makes your program special?
We have one breeding female, she is our beloved pet and lives with us in our home. When she has a litter, we move her to a small room in our shop (across the driveway) that is insulated and can be temperature controlled for the puppies safety and comfort.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
DNA Disease Panel, Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM), D Locus (Dilute) DNA test
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
