I'm Kelly D., the breeder behind Pendleton Labradors located in Litchfield, NC. Pendleton Labs is founded upon love and respect for all things dog. We are dedicated to placing the perfect Labrador Retriever pups into loving homes. Our dogs are considered members of our family, and we give each dog and puppy all the attention and care that they require to live happy, healthy lives.

Why did you start breeding?
Starting a breeding program felt like the right decision. We love this breed and value responsible breeding practices and education. We want to do our part to promote ethical breeding, so that the Labrador Retriever will continue to thrive for many generations.What makes your program special?
We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!Where do your breeding dogs live?

Parent health testing
Great level

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
D Locus (Dilute) DNA test, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
