I'm Emily A., the breeder behind Pepper Mae Danes located in Goddard, KS. I am honored to do my part in keeping the breed and all of their qualities that I am completely inlove with going strong! It is our goal to offer puppies that make wonderful family companions, so we breed with a focus on temperament, health, and personality. We want all our pups to have the best lives and families. I rely on God to send me the right people for my pups to love them like I would or better and he has came through every time! Thank you for reading all of this. Why did you start breeding?
Our kennel name is Pepper Mae Danes in honor of the lady that started my love for the breed. Pepper was my very first great Dane and she set the bar high! She was actually the first dog I went looking for. For the first time I needed a set of specific characteristics from a dog. We were just starting our family, my husband had started a new career but most of the jobs was not local. I wanted a confident, strong presence in the house with me that wouldn't shed like crazy and be good with our young children. After doing all the research we decided a Dane would be the best fit. That is how we got our first Dane! And I completely fell in love and reached out to her breeder. With so much guidance and her as my mentor I have slowly become an amazing breeder to contribute to keeping this amazing breed going strong!What makes your program special?
Here at pepper Mae Danes we have a huge heart for all Danes! And while we are breeding healthy happy puppies to keep the breed and its standards going strong there are a lot of Danes out there that need homes already. Some are mixed, some have health issues, behavioral or just surrendered because people get Danes with out proper education, expectation or their situation changes. Never the less this weighed on my conscious heavily so we have committed to donate 10% of our profits from each litter to a great Dane rescue of choice. And when I do I will promote each shelter on all of my social media platforms to help get them recognition! In addition we are working on making a great Dane facility to help foster Danes while they are in-between being saved and finding their perfect families! So every purchase does more than just get a new best friend it helps save a life or life's of other Danes! Great Dane people are such an amazing crowd anyway so lets do something extra special! Our puppies include blue, harlequin, mantle, merle, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
