I'm Jessica R., the breeder behind Perfectly Picked Pugs located in Hannibal, NY. Perfectly Picked Pugs is a small family run program located in Hannibal, NY. Founded and ran by myself, Jessica Raponi, and my family. We currently have only 4 dogs in our program. Having such a small program makes it possible for every one of them to live in our home and be a true part of our family. Breeding for us is strictly a hobby, and providing families with a healthy companion brings us true joy. Our children are hands on with the puppies from the moment they are born and continue to love them until the day they leave. We have other dogs in our home who are not part of our program. The puppies are exposed to those dogs, who are larger and of a different breed. In addition to our other dogs, we also have a cat that we take time to introduce to the puppies. When you take home a puppy from Perfectly Picked our mission is to make sure it is well socialized in more ways than one. We strive to make sure your puppy leaves here with confidence and the ability to easily adapt to your home. All of our dogs are AKC registered and tested for PDE and PKDEF. We only breed black and fawn pugs. I currently do not sell puppies with breeding rights.

Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency (PKD), Pug Type, Pug Dog Encephalitis (PDE)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
