Meet the breeder

I'm Shania S., the breeder behind PerfectPomskies located in Boody, IL. Since 2017, we have fallen in love and immersed ourselves in studying genetics, coat color, health, bloodlins, OFA, and responsible breeding. Today, we're dedicated to raising beautiful, healthy, well socialized Pomskies with loving temperaments.

Q. & A. with Shania

  • Why did you start breeding?

We fell in love with the Pomsky’s beauty, intelligence and huge personality and quickly became fascinated with the breed. What started as a love for our own little “wolf pack” grew into years of research, mentorship and education. We wanted to raise healthy, beautiful Pomskies with wonderful temperaments and share the breed we love with other families.
  • What makes your program special?

Our program combines extensive DNA testing, OFA health testing, thoughtful bloodline selection, temperament, structure, coat, color and eye genetics. Puppies are raised with ENS, ESI, handling, enrichment, socialization, age-appropriate deworming, vaccinations and veterinary care. We produce only a small number of litters, allowing us to give every puppy personal attention.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include toy and mini sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include wolf sable, tri-color, silver and white, white, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Shania

Shania has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Shania partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Puppies are matched after learning home/lifestyle and expectations set by the individual buyer. ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit that secures a specific puppy. The remaining $1,400 - $4,000 is due before pickup, plus applicable taxes and fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

“This price incudes all puppy care and age appropriate deworming, vaccinations, vet visits, registration paperwork (whee applicable) DNA testing, etc. This deposit would secure a puppy of choice. While non-refundable, it can be transferred and moved per request depending on circumstance to another puppy or waitlist on another/upcoming litter.”

Contract & health guarantee

Shania may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Shania offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Shania directly.
