I'm Jennifer K., the breeder behind Pernema Kennel located in Tuscola County, MI. I have been in the breed since 1999. Health is most important to our kennel. We are experienced breeders, and we take our role seriously. We keep a variety of factors in mind when choosing dogs to breed, including health, temperament, pedigree, and complementary traits, so that puppies can inherit the best of both parents.

Why did you start breeding?
I started by helping breeders by handling their dogs. I chose my breed through them. I started with a co-owned female, and have continued. I don't breed often. The health of the dogs/puppies is the number 1 importance.What makes your program special?
Our dogs live long happy lives. Our oldest was 17 when she passed away.

Price
Puppy prices include between $800 - $1,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Jennifer may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific), GenSol Diagnostics DNA Testing, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
