About Celia
Celia is an amazingly sweet and cuddly 2 year old Mi-ki. Due to her great demeanor we were hoping to use her in our breeding program, but unfortunately after doing routine health checks we have discovered she has cataracts, meaning she will need to retire from our program. Her eyes will need to be monitored but does not seem to be affecting her vision much at this time. Celia is also currently on a speciality food for urinary crystals. This food change has helped her in many ways. She is no longer needing to go as often and has much more pep. She has recently had another urinalysis and is now crystal free, but needs to remain on the special food. She is leash trained and will go outside but was originally trained to go on potty pads. Celia does well with other dogs including large dogs, but would do best in a slower paced home where she will receive lots of attention. Our “Mama bear” loves to stay close to her people, curl up on your lap and snore the afternoon away. Until it’s time to eat, then she will dance all the way to her bowl. If you’re someone looking for a special friend to have a close bond with, Celia is your girl!

Phantastic Mi-kis reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Mi-Kis.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
