Phoenix Pines

Dorthea C.

Breeder of Poodles

Meet the breeder

I'm Dorthea C., the breeder behind Phoenix Pines located in East Milton, FL. We breed high-quality Poodles that excel as service dogs. Our pups primarily grow up to assist people with developmental disabilities, so we breed for traits that will help them excel in that role. We focus on health, temperament, disposition, and genetics. Our goal is to produce puppies that will be happy, energetic, and enjoy their work.

Q. & A. with Dorthea

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our dogs make excellent service dogs, and we are passionate about producing pups that can fill that role. We really value the connections we form with our buyers and love to be able to provide individuals with dogs that can truly change their life.
  • What makes your program special?

We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes where they can be their best. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a positive experience.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
