Meet the breeder

I'm ALLISON F., the breeder behind Pine-Oaks Cairn Terriers, LLC located in Andalusia, AL. Pine-Oaks is dedicated to breeding healthy, well-socialized Cairn Terriers with excellent temperaments and correct breed type. All breeding dogs undergo health testing and our focus is on producing sound companions that exemplify the Cairn Terrier standard in health, temperament and conformation.

Q. & A. with ALLISON

  • Why did you start breeding?

My journey into breeding began after purchasing my first Cairn Terrier in 2007 and quickly falling in love with the breed's personality, intelligence and charm. With a strong passion for science, especially biology and genetics, I became fascinated by responsible breeding and canine health. Today we raise our Cairns on our small 10-acre farm, focusing on health and preserving the breed we love.
  • What makes your program special?

At Pine-Oaks Cairn Terriers, we are committed to producing healthy, Cairn Terriers with excellent temperaments and adherence to the breed standard. Our breeding dogs undergo health testing and puppies are raised with daily socialization and individualized care. We focus on quality over quantity, ensuring each puppy receives the attention needed to thrive as a confident, well adjusted companion.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include silver brindle, black brindle, wheaten brindle, wheaten, red wheaten, red brindle, gray brindle, cream, brindle, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
