I'm Darby M., the breeder behind Pistol Ridge Ranch located in Carriere, MS. Our dog breed started by us acquiring some of the top bred longhaired mini dachshunds from Mississippi and Florida. We have some of the best companion dogs within the dachshund breed and those traits are being reproduced and being made available to people like you. You need a bestie? We got you!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    When we bought our first puppy, we realized rather quickly how exceptional this breed is. It's been all down hill from there.

  • What makes your program special?

    We wanted to create the best overall line by getting the right companion traits into the best of the best colors. So not only do you get a top notch looking dog but, you can rest assured that the personality is there too.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include red and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Darby

Puppy prices include a $350 non-refundable deposit and between $1,150 - $2,650 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“This price includes your puppy being de-wormed, vaccinated, vet health check, and socialized. They will be ready for their new family on all fronts. All deposits remain the same regardless of overall price of the dog.”
