  • Why did you start breeding?

    I grew up with my parent breeding dachshunds and have always wanted to start my own program.
  • What makes your program special?

    I personally love color in my dogs so we do breed off standard colors but focus on temperament, intelligence and conformation over color.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, chocolate, brindle, fawn (isabella) and tan, fawn (isabella) and cream, black and tan, black and cream, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, blue and tan, blue and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Polly

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“AKC registration, contract with 18m genetic health guarantee, 2 rounds of vaccinations, microchip, dewormings, and health certificate. Full registration available to approved breeders. Our deposit is to hold your puppy. Deposit is non-refundable unless something happens on our end. We must have the reservation contract signed before placing the deposit.”

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Brucellosis, Temperament Test

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
