I'm Amanda H., the breeder behind P&L Doodles located in Clinton, OH. We want our puppies to be healthy, happy, and a perfect fit for your home. Each parent has a full health/disease panel. We socialize the puppies with children, families, and other animals to focus on a sweet and gentle temperment and we also introduce potty-training!
Q. & A. with Amanda
Why did you start breeding?
We love to share the beautiful life we have with others. We share food from our garden and eggs from our chickens. We help tutor our co-op and my husband volunteers through local law organizations. And now we want to share another beautiful part of our lives, our Labradoodle, Rain. Truly, it is another way to share the joy and love from our life to others.
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are our family. They are loved and socialized from birth. We don't want to send any puppy out that isn't a perfect fit for you, your children, or your other pets. So, while our dogs are beautiful, we also want them to be gentle, well-tempered, and trainable. We really put our hearts into each and every puppy to make sure they leave our family to become a wonderful part of yours.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Amanda was so great to work with! She allowed us to do a zoom call and see our puppy ahead of time. She sent additional pictures and updates leading up to the time we picked him up. When we picked the puppy up, Amanda gave us a going home package which included all the genetic testing for both parents, the shot records, a baggie of food he was eating and a bandana his mom was wearing so he could go home with something that had her scent. This was our families first experience getting a dog, and I was a little nervous, but the puppy was so well loved and cared for that the transition home went very well. We have had the puppy for two weeks now, and my whole family is over the moon with him. Thank you Amanda for such a great experience. I can’t recommend Amanda and GoodDog enough!
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
