Meet the breeder

I'm Natoshia L., the breeder behind Platinum Edition Australian Shepherds located in Croswell, MI. We breed quality, heath-tested Australian Shepherds with a focus on temperament, intelligence, conformation and athletic ability. We believe our dogs should be well rounded members of your family, and that form should always go hand in hand with function. We breed social, even-tempered, family members with talents that extend far beyond the conformation ring.

Q. & A. with Natoshia

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our journey began in 2006 when I fell in love with my first Aussie Tiffany. As I grew in the breed and quickly became educated in conformation and temperament, I realized that it was very very hard to find my vision of the breed standard with a good solid temperament. So, after a great deal of research, I began to establish my own program to create what I feel is the embodiment of a perfect Australian Shepherd: conformation, temperament, intelligence, drive, and health.
  • What makes your program special?

I strive to create an Australian Shepherd who is intelligent and playful while maintaining the all-important "off switch." I believe that form should always serve function and that my dogs should be beautiful and compete in the conformation ring as well as in performance events while still being able to come home and be that mellow cuddle buddy and velcro dog that we all know and love.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
