I'm Amy C., the breeder behind Platinum located in Muskego, WI. I have been involved in dogs for over 15 yrs. I have own owned Akita’s, Great Dane,Collie,Boston,standard Dach, and miniature dachshunds! I believe every dog should be a family dog first we focus on quality breedings rather than quantity. Breedings are well thought out and purposeful.

Why did you start breeding?
I began showing my Great Dane and was fortunate to meet a great Dachshund breeder and mentor, and the rest was history!What makes your program special?
We focus on not only health, but on temperment I believe every show dog should be suited as a family dog. I strive for personality and temperament with that in focus. Our dogs are kept in our home as part of the family, so they are fewer in number. I breed for quality, not quantity. Providing a family with a wonderful pet brings joy to my heart. Placing a retired show dog in a new family where they become the center of the world brings me even more joy!What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Getting a puppy from Amy
Amy has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Amy partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 11 weeks old.
"We will evaluate buyers wishes and match the best puppy to them. We spend every day with our puppies and can watch them develop. This helps us make a really great match where puppy and owner are equally paired, without this process there is potential for disappointment for both owner and especially the puppy. We strive for the right for the first time. "
Price
"Depending on pedigree stud fee litter range in price. Older retired show dogs are less and delivery options are additional to this cost. A deposit contract will be sent before it is deposited in my account. Please contact me for additional information."

Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
PRA, Cone-Rod Dystrophy 1 (PRA-crd1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
