I'm Sandra C., the breeder behind Playful teacups Yorkshire located in Riverside, CA. All of our dogs are loved as family members. We cherish our puppies from birth up until they leave our arms to snuggle into yours! Our dogs stole our hearts right from the start and we found ourselves wanting to get more involved. Breeding was a natural next step and we haven’t looked back since!

Why did you start breeding?
I began dog breeding out of a genuine love for dogs and a desire to produce healthy, well-temperamented companions. What started as owning and caring for my own dogs quickly grew into a passion for understanding genetics, health testing, and responsible breeding practices. I focus on quality over quantity, carefully selecting parents based on health, structure, and personality.What makes your program special?

Jet is a gentle, affectionate boy who seeks attention a few times a day for love and reassurance. He is very sweet, loves squeaky toys, and is doing great with potty training. Jet responds well to verbal cues—when told “Jet, what are you smelling?” or “Jet, we need to talk,” he understands and walks outside to go potty. He has excellent behavior and communication skills.

Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
