Meet the breeder

I'm Leigh Anne B., the breeder behind Plum Creek Collies located in Mount Orab, OH. We are pet owners first and foremost. All of our puppies are raised as members of our family until they’re ready to join yours. Collies are our passion, and we can't imagine spending our lives without them. We are dedicated towards achieving excellence and healthy show dogs as well as family pets, and we are always working to further our education so that we can continue to improve our breeding program.

Q. & A. with Leigh Anne

  • Why did you start breeding?

We started by showing our collies in conformation. We wanted to breed collies as a way to get our next show prospect.
  • What makes your program special?

We raise all of our puppies in our house and spend a lot of time with them. Every puppy owner has told me how smart, fun, outgoing and happy their puppies are and they can tell by the puppy how much love has been poured into them. This makes my heart to happy to hear!
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Leigh Anne was great! Sent me daily pictures, told me what things she loved already. She came trained for a pen and potty trained (she was 13 weeks old when coming home, I'm sure this is never garunteed). We know our sweet girl was well loved and cared for prior to coming to us. Can't wait to see what the future holds for her!
