I'm Kristin S., the breeder behind Plum Creek Dachshunds located in Clayton, KS. My name is Kristin Stragey. I breed long-haired dachshunds on our farm in northwest Kansas. We love these dogs like family and give them the best start in life so they are ready to be your forever best friend!

Why did you start breeding?
I became a breeder after my kids were grown and I had the most beautiful little piebald girl named Daphne. Daphne gave me 2 gorgeous litters before she passed away. I was heartbroken when I lost her but kept one of her sons to pass on her genetics.What makes your program special?
My puppies are handled and loved on everyday! I take them on road trips to visit the granddaughters and have the grandkids at the farm too. They are raised around kids, elderly and everyone in between. I pride myself on my pups being well adjusted and easy going!What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?

“The price includes the guarantee, first immunizations, deworming, vet health assessment, socialization and CKC paperwork. Deposit holds the specific puppy you are wanting. It is non-refundable but can be put towards a different puppy if something were to happen to the one requested.”
