I'm Anna and Matt H., the breeder behind Polaris Pups located in East Greenbush, NY. We’re so excited to be able to help families experience the longtime loyalty of dachshunds. Getting a puppy from Anna and Matt
Anna and Matt has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Anna and Matt partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“We adopt the pups out a little older (around 3-4 months instead 2), once we've had time to properly assess their temper and ensure their health. This listing is made at a time when we can already assess the tempers and match them with families. ”
Price
“The price includes vaccinations, deworming, Early Neurological Stimulation program, socialization training, AKC registration and a puppy starter package.”

Litter update on 28 July 2025 •…Borealis, now named "Frankie", went to his forever home today. Here he is saying bye bye to our human babies after an Adoption Day bath. All puppies are now vet checked, appropriately vaccinated and dewormed, healthy and ready to nibble YOUR toes!

Litter update on 31 May 2025 •…Momma and babies doing great. Astra is very attentive just like last time. Babies are very content and gaining weight - looks like they're turning into real chonksters. With only three pups, there's plenty of milk to go around.
