I'm Becca D., the breeder behind Poms On The Lake located in Cropwell, AL. Every puppy we raise is adored as part of our family from birth. The love we have for our first and oldest Pom, Skye, influenced us to begin breeding. We love to see the results of our efforts in the sweet, happy, and healthy puppies that we’re able to share with others.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My husband and I purchased our first Pomeranian in 2022. We feel in love with her and the breed and the rest is history. We have 9 females and 5 males in our breeding program at this time.

  • What makes your program special?

    All of our Pomeranians live in our home with us. They enjoy playing inside and outside. Our adults sleep inside our home in their individual kennels. They are part of our family and interact with us daily. Our puppies are introduced to different sounds, spells, and environments within our home at a very early age. We strive to socialize our babies with children and other animals in our home.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include chocolate parti, blue parti, lavender, cream, blue, white, chocolate, wolf sable, tri-colored, chocolate merle, blue merle, orange sable, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Becca

Becca has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Becca partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes limited AKC registration (unless otherwise approved for full rights), 1 year health guarantee, 30 days free Trupanion insurance, microchipped, age appropriate vaccines and a puppy starter pack with food, toys, etc. We require a signed contract at the time your deposit is paid. Deposit is non refundable but can be transferred to another puppy at the breeder’s discretion.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Becca is absolutely wonderful.. I had gone through some scam situations after losing my 16 year princess in the process of looking for a new baby to love so I was very leery going into the process.. The good dog app and Becca made the process so easy and safe for everyone.. Becca listened to all my wants then worked with me to help me find the most precious little baby ever .. She kept me updated with messages pictures and videos through the whole process.. She always wrote me back in a timely manner .. I’ve never worked with such a caring breeder all her pups are part of her family so they come ready to be around other dogs and you can tell she’s loved on them and they’re already a little spoiled and ready for there new owners to pick up the spoiling .. Shes reached out several times since I brought princess Winnie(she helped pick name)home to make sure all is going well .. She truly cares !! I will be adding on to our family again at some point and I will 100% go back through Becca !!!

    Becca was very responsive and answered all of my questions and concerns. She took the time to video chat with me and show the puppy and sent many pictures.     Becca is the perfect breeder for these adorable and smart little Poms. She was always in touch and sending photographs. She gave us the records of the first vet visit so that I can just hand the information over to our vet for continued care.
