I'm Matthew P., the breeder behind Pope Family Farm located in Redwood, NY. We decided to take our love for this breed to the next level by breeding our incredible dogs. We hope our puppies bring lots of joy and love into the hearts of their new families!

Why did you start breeding?
We got Atlas at 6 weeks when we lived in a near by city on a postage stamp parcel. This guy is amazing, everyone he meets is warmed by his kind spirit. He inspired our adventure into the wilderness and our venture in breeding. We are completely off grid on 22 acres smack dab in the middle of a 1,000 acre nature conservancy. I will always have a pup from his line until the day I die.What makes your program special?
We have 7 dogs in our family. Our litters are exposed to a pack, our two young children and our two cats daily before they go to their forever homes. This allows them to learn invaluable good behaviors and get accustomed to children and kitty's. Dad and mom are extremely mild tempered and compassionate pups. All of our prior litters found families that wouldn't trade them for the world.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Matthew
Matthew has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Contract & health guarantee
Matthew may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
