I'm Lesa H., the breeder behind Harriette & Ozzy's Poodle Pups located in New Haven, IN. We raise the puppies in our home with lots of love and interaction! Both parents are our beloved fur babies! The loyalty and loving disposition of this breed are simply the best! Puppies are raised around children and cats. They are desensitized with grooming! Both parents are AKC & Embark tested.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We wanted to breed these two to share with other families the JOY and Amazement they have brought to our home and family.

  • What makes your program special?

    We spend alot of time playing and loving on our babies!! Harriette is a wonderful mother!! We work on puppy enrichment and desensitization for well rounded puppies!! They have been visited by many family members including small children. Part of their enrichment includes: eat from 7 different kinds of containers, 7 people have held and loved on them, they have walked on 7 different surfaces.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include apricot, black, cream, and silver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Lesa

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 deposit and $1,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes tail dock, dew claws removed, AKC registration, vaccinations, well puppy check, blanket, collar, start of puppy food, early socialization and grooming. We only ask for a deposit to guarantee your pick of the litter and to protect us from holding a puppy that you pick and someone else also wants.”

Contract & health guarantee

Lesa may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
