While looking at potential babies to fill the void left by our Yorkie of 14 years that we had to let go, I came upon adorable faces of Shih Tzu puppies. One particularly adorable puppy in a basket and a huge pink bow on her sweet little head, and the face, ohhh that adorable face…. I delved deeper, looked at her siblings and parents, and finally read the breeders profile. The fact that she had been raising these babies for quite a while. That reassured me she knew what to look for and watch for in her puppies Sarah was very responsive to my initial inquiry. Not pushy or trying to rush me into a sale. She was patient with my probably redundant questions that everyone asks. She was patient in my responses and listening to my sob story about putting my old Yorkie down, and why I didn’t have the heart to get another Yorkie. She was fantastic to work with and Good Dog made everything feel on the Up And Up and there was no scamming going on. It’s a truth that well bred puppies are not cheap. And if you’re looking to add a new baby to your family you want to start out with the healthy puppy. So that was a real concern. I had looked at a puppy offered on Marketplace and got a bad feeling right off the start. My daughter in law said to use Good Dog. One of the clients that visits the vet practice she works at uses it to find new families for their puppies. She was very very careful when we picked up our puppy. We disinfected our feet/shoes before entering the house. The pick up area was behind closed doors from the the main living area. The parent dogs or puppies could be seen through the glass door. My puppy came with a health report of recorded immunizations, a small bag of her current food, and a small ( wash cloth sized ) piece of fleece blanket that had been with mom and siblings and a familiar smell for my puppy, when she reached her new home with no recognizable smells. She offered suggestions for the first nights at home and transport. Everything went superb! JC

I cannot recommend Sarah enough. From the start she was kind, honest, and clearly really cares about her dogs. You can tell her Shih Tzus are raised with so much love and attention. My puppy is healthy, happy, playful, and has the sweetest personality. She answered all my questions, kept me updated throughout the process, and even still checks in on him which really shows how much she cares. It is obvious her puppies are well socialized and go to homes she truly cares about. I am so grateful I found her and I would absolutely recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a responsible caring Shih Tzu breeder.
