I'm Terrence R., the breeder behind Primo Kennels located in Powder Springs, GA. We strive to produce high-quality, healthy Dogo Argentino with a focus on exceptional working ability and temperaments. Dogo Argentino are an incredible breed, and we decided to start our breeding program in order to preserve the wonderful qualities we found in our dogs. They excel both in their work and as companions. We are dedicated to improving our lines with each generation so that the breed will continue to thrive for a long time to come.

What makes your program special?
We are conscientious in our breeding practices, and we breed for health, temperament, drive, and ability. We want our dogs to be biddable and able to succeed wherever they are needed, as well as to thrive in their homes with their families.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Terrence
Terrence has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Terrence partners with them to find the best puppy match.
Price
“The price includes the guarantee, BAER test, AKC or UKC registration, first round of vaccinations, deworming, puppy socialization, and ear cropping of specific puppies. DEPOSIT: Seller hereby accepts a non-refundable deposit of $500.00, which shall be paid concurrently with the execution of a Purchase Agreement and shall be applied towards the purchase price of the puppy. Seller shall not hold a puppy for Buyer, nor place name on wait list, until said deposit has been received. DEPOSIT ROLL OVER: Buyer shall be entitled to one roll over of their deposit to a future litter (pass up litter on which they are wait-listed). After one roll over, the purchase price of this contract will adjust to the current sales price at the time Buyer actually brings a puppy home.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA), Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Terrence, an expert in the Dogo breed, demonstrated his genuine care for the breed from the beginning. Our initial contact was filled with informative explanations about the breed’s history, temperament, and social behavior around family and other dogs. Utilizing the Good Dog app streamlined the process. Terrence provided regular updates on Ghost and arranged for a flight nanny to deliver our baby boy. Primo Kennels made finding our puppy a great experience. Terrance was great to work with and was very knowledgeable about his breed. I loved the interview process and his passion he has with his animals. When selecting our puppy he was able to help us pick our little guy by asking what we were looking for and by doing that he was able to identify the parents and provide us puppies to choose from. We are so happy with our selection and he is a perfect fit for our family. In preparation for our new family member, Terrance with Primo Kennels also provided us a diet plan so we would have everything nutritionally ready, registered us with Home again, provided all test results, and medical records we would need for our local vet. When scheduling the pick-up, Terrance also helped us coordinate our meet date and went out of his way to meet us at the Atlanta airport to deliver our little Ozzy to us.
