I'm Brenda T., the breeder behind ProAct Canines located in Paw Paw, MI. Our dogs are bred to have top qualities that all families want in their puppies, such as compassion, patience, and love! Our love for our dogs pushed us to begin breeding. We love to see the results of our efforts in the sweet, happy, and healthy puppies that we’re able to share with others. We have many pups that have gone on to be service dogs and are in Training.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We started Breeding Labradors Retrievers over 20years ago for our program to produce narcotic canines. We had the love for shepherds and bred Working line German Shepherds for about 8 years. Then happened upon our first poodle and doodles. We found especially the large Breed Saint Berdoodle being so intelligent and such a great family dog. We love our pups abd put our heart and soul into our program

  • What makes your program special?

    We at ProAct Canines love what we do! We try to ensure the best well rounded puppies that join your family. We love to follow their journey after leaving us. We always have open communication with our families even after the pups leave.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Labradoodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Labradoodle puppies include merle, caramel, apricot, cream, chocolate, and black. Saint Berdoodle puppies include sable, parti, merle-sable, merle, and brown and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Brenda

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Brenda partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $700 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    Brenda was awesome to deal with. This was my first experience with this breed and Brenda was able to answer all of my questions. The puppy I received from her was and is awesome - she was so well socialized that she has no fear of anything. She loves everyone, loves all dogs, loves all new experiences. Her name with me is Sophie and she is the most adorable, loving, playful, energetic puppy I have ever had. She loves to go to daycare, she loves to come to work with me, she loves her walks, she loves my back yard with my fish pond, she loves the groomer, she loves the vet. She was so well adjusted and socialized it makes being with her a total pleasure. That tells me that Brenda spent a lot of time with her before I picked her up.     My experience with ProAct Canines was simply amazing! Brenda was super responsive and more than helpful in answering all my questions. There's no doubt that she takes pride in raising amazing dogs for others to benefit from. Candidly, when we are ready for another we will be going straight back to Brenda ... so please keep breeding :).     Brenda was very helpful throughout the whole process of purchasing our Labradoodle. She was welcoming when we picked her up, went over all the health paperwork, it was a smooth transition. Our puppy was beautifully groomed when we picked her up. I highly recommend Brenda as a breeder.
