Q. & A. with Christa
Why did you start breeding?
I needed dogs that are healthy, versatile and have strong stock sense. My dogs are a huge part of my life, whether that is doing chores on our 12 acre farm with livestock, playing, or just chilling in the house. I wanted to provide healthy, stock working dogs that can excel in any sport. They will also be by your side whatever you choose to do.
What makes your program special?
I am devoted to breeding sound, structurally correct and healthy Shetland Sheepdogs that are also biddable, and will excel at any venue. I especially want to keep the herding instinct in them. I am committed to the well-being of my dogs and have high standards for my breeding program.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
