I'm Monika B., the breeder behind Prophecy Kennels located in Shelton, WA. We will work hard to breed the best dogs possible using good bloodlines and health-tested dogs. We follow all appropriate steps to raising well-socialized puppies.

Why did you start breeding?
About 20 years ago, I purchased my first Border Collie puppy. From that moment on I was hooked to the phenomenal intelligence, the cat-like indoor experience with this breed (soft and quiet), and the stunning beauty of the Border Collie. I always wanted to find the perfect match to breed my own … and two decades later, my dream is finally coming true ♥️
What makes your program special?
My line will embody what a Border Collie should stand for and look like. My breeding dogs come from great bloodlines and bring the most important traits to the table; beauty and brains ♥️
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Bordoodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Border Collie puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Border Collie puppies include lilac merle, black and white, blue merle, red merle, lilac, white and blue, white and blue merle, white and red, white and red merle, and white and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Monika

Monika has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Monika partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Bordoodle Puppy Matching Policy Our goal is to match each puppy with the home where they will thrive, not just based on looks, but on personality and lifestyle fit. Because Bordoodles are a mix of the Border Collie and Poodle, energy levels and temperament can vary. We spend time getting to know each puppy as they grow. Around 6 to 7 weeks of age, we begin helping families choose the puppy that best fits their home, based on activity level, experience, and what you are hoping for in a dog. Deposits determine general pick order, and we may offer guidance to help ensure a good match. Our goal is for both you and your puppy to be set up for long term success. If we do not have the right fit in a litter, we will work with you on a future litter or refund your deposit.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes AKC registration (for purebred Border Collies only), first set of vaccinations, de-worming, vet check, socialization, and a puppy bag. Our puppies are high quality and of carefully selected parents. We are planning on having litters every 2 - 4 years. Our dogs are quiet, well mannered, and perfectly socialized.”

Contract & health guarantee

Monika may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Monika offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Monika directly.

Puppy Update Our puppies are growing beautifully and are now becoming much more active. Most have their eyes open, they are starting to waddle around the whelping box, and their little personalities are beginning to shine through. They have also discovered their voices with tiny barks, growls, and lots of adorable puppy sounds. Mama Chanel is doing an amazing job caring for her babies, and they are all gaining weight and thriving. We are enjoying every stage of their journey and look forward to sharing more updates as they continue to grow. Thank you to everyone who has followed along and expressed interest in this very special litter.

Trapped Neutrophil Syndrome, Cohen Syndrome (TNS), Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
