I'm Aaron S., the breeder behind Pudgy Paws Dachshunds located in Chesapeake, VA. We focus on intentional breeding so that we can produce quality puppies that are excellent representations of the standard. Our dogs shine both in and out of the show ring. Our puppies leave for their new homes with a solid foundation of training and socialization, and we strive for quality and excellence with everything that we do.
Q. & A. with Aaron
Why did you start breeding?
Always wanted to breed and show, from the time I was a kid. Then one day I stumbled upon a show-breeder that was willing to work with a newby.
What makes your program special?
I look for the whole package, and focus on good temperament. Making the perfect dogs is my passion, and not trying to make a quick buck. My dogs are all potty trained, and acclimated to noises and being around people. They are like family.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have smooth coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
