I'm Jody H., the breeder behind Pug Palace Kennel located in Canterbury, CT. My first 2 pugs were rescues. I had found a local breeder who was homing 2 adult pugs. I had no intentions of taking them both home that day but after witnessing the conditions they lived in I couldn't leave 1 behind. I was worried how they would be with my children. I had a newborn baby at home. There was never any reason to worry. They were gentle, loving and tolerant to my 3 young children and we all fell in love!!

I would highly recommend Jody for anyone searching for a pug puppy. We had such a great experience and we are so in love with our little guy. Jody was wonderful throughout, sending us picture updates, and she even sent us home with goodies for the puppy. The whole litter looked healthy and well cared for in her home. We would definitely go through Jody for future pups.

I had the best experience with Jody from the first time I messaged her to the time I picked up my puppy. Jody consistently sent me pictures during the 8 week waiting period which was such a great experience as I got to see when my little guy first open his eyes, pictures of him playing etc. I can tell Jody is a good person and cares about the dogs very much her home is very welcoming and the dogs running around are super friendly. I couldn’t ask for a better experience and I’m very thankful to have found her. I’m considering getting another puppy down the road so now that I have a great breeder of the type of dog I love it makes it so much easier. Thank you Jody we are spoiling and appreciating our little guy everyday thanks to you.

We had such an amazing experience working with Jody! She is very responsive and super knowledgeable about pugs! You can really tell that she loves them all so much! We got our first pug, Jelly, from Jody in April and couldn’t resist getting a second, Olive, in November! They both have added such a special dynamic to our family. They are so sweet and so silly and became instant best friends with each other and us (although the photo will show you that Jelly was quite surprised at first!) We love our little pug babies so much!
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
