I'm Dana H., the breeder behind Pug Perfection Puppies located in Lufkin, TX. My Pugs are AKC registered, healthy,& happy. They live inside my home -like kids. I have been breeding pugs for 13 yrs. I am always striving to learn more and improve my program. Parents are genetically health tested and I am so confident in their health that I give a 2 year genetic health guarantee.

Why did you start breeding?
My sister in law introduced me to her pugs years ago. When I got Leah, I researched and spoke to everyone I could about breeding. I found a Champion stud and the rest is history.What makes your program special?
I stand behind my dogs 100% of the time. I prioritize their health & well-being. I offer support to puppy buyers for the lifetime of the dog. If my families have a question, they are welcome to reach out to me. Parents are genetically health tested. I make sure that the matings I do are matched well. I specialize in rare colors chinchilla/silver/white/pink as well as standard black and fawn pugs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include silver, black, fawn, white, and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Dana partners with them to find the best puppy match.
Price
“The price of the pug is based off of color. They are AKC full registration. The parents are genetically clear. Puppy will come pee pad trained. Vet check, shots, dewormed & socialized. The deposit is to show your good faith in wanting one of my pugs. It is 10% of the price of the pup. If you get on my waiting list and the litter does not have the color/sex you want $ is refunded.”

Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency (PKD), Pug Type, Pug Dog Encephalitis (PDE)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
