I'm Renee E., the breeder behind Pug Puppies of Boston located in Saugus, MA. Our dogs are bred in our home. We do our best to breed with total care by primarily focusing on raising healthy, affectionate, and loyal companions. As a result of our efforts, we’re positive our puppies will become perfect family members and add just as much joy to your life as they have ours!
Q. & A. with Renee
Why did you start breeding?
I started breeding pugs when my kids came home from elementary school and said their teacher had one and asked if we could get one. I fell in love and decided to breed her. The rest is history. My grown sons come home frequently to visit and play with our dogs.
What makes your program special?
I only breed purebred pugs that have curly tails, nice nose rolls, and most of all, no bulgy eyes. I breed for coloring, solid blacks and light colored fawns. My dogs are all healthy, happy and spoiled with daily treats, premium dog food, current vaccines and dewormers, have a lot of attention from family, friends and other dogs. My dogs all swim in my pool. Pugs have to be taught to swim.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
