I'm Pamela V., the breeder behind Pugs of Blackfoot located in Heidelberg, MS. I provide cute pups with a focus on health, beauty, and quality bloodlines. I pour all of my love into the well-being of my dogs! Pugs are a passion of mine, and I can't imagine spending life without them. I strive for excellence and quality throughout every aspect of my program, and I enjoy raising puppies and preparing them for their forever homes. It’s an amazing experience as a breeder to provide others with Pug puppies that I know will bring them the same joy that they've brought me!
Q. & A. with Pamela
Why did you start breeding?
Our love for the breed started with one male pug whom we named Wonton. As everyone knows you can never have just one pug 😂 Two females followed shortly after Wonton and we named them Mazie and Wontina. While our love for the breed has never changed we have made changes to our program over the years that benefit both the puppies as well as their new owners
What makes your program special?
We health test our adults and generally look to better the breed. We have been breeding for about five years. We strive to produce puppies that meet the breed standards while helping to alleviate general pug issues such as dealing with brachycephalic (short snout) dogs, as well as pug temperaments.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

The process was very easy. I named her Bella. She keeps me busy, but I'm loving every minute of it!
