I'm Joanna H., the breeder behind Pugs Rule! located in Greenbrier, TN. Every puppy we raise is adored as part of our family from birth. Our puppies will complete your home, your family, and your heart! Raising puppies has been so much fun, although we take our role in raising them seriously. Breeding has helped us share the joy of our dogs with other families and individuals.

Why did you start breeding?
First litter was accidental but what a lovely accident! We have a fawn male and a brindle female. Only 1% of pugs are Brindle so not only rare but also beautiful! Loving, cuddly, and playful.
What makes your program special?
Pugs are raised in home, never caged, spoiled, well socialized. Both Pug parents owned by family. Receive excellent medical care, heartworm preventative, vaccines up-to-date, wormed. Eat high quality special ordered kibble. Litter box and potty pad trained.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Joanna

Joanna has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $250 refundable deposit and between $700 - $1,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Price includes vet exam, first set of vaccines, first dose heartworm medication, dewormed. Born 11/11/2024. CKC registered. Two puppies available, both are adorable and beautiful rare Brindle males 10 weeks old. Well socialized. Raised underfoot. Never caged. Fawn Pugs sell for $750 but have already been sold. 2 Brindle Males available also $750. Less than 1% of Pugs worldwide are Brindle. Usual price $2,000- $4,000 depending on area of the US. Our goal is to get them affordably into good homes. Deposit is required to hold puppy. I can provide you with my vets contact information to use as a reference. One year health guarantee included. Registration papers included also. New payment plan offered by Good Dog. I am participating! I want to find the best home for the one puppy that I have left. A male Brindle Pug."

Joanna was very responsive and was so great to work with. She was very knowledgeable about her pugs! She was so nice and welcoming when we came to pick up our now baby boy Ozzy!
