I'm Stephanie H., the breeder behind Pumpkin Patch Pups located in Fredericksburg, VA. My love for animals has always taken front and center in my life. The adults are carefully selected prior to breeding to ensure healthy pups. The pups are very loved and we strive to find them their perfect forever home.

Why did you start breeding?
I broke my back in 2018 and had to quit my job as an aesthetician and decided to stay home and recover. While recovering, we had a litter of puppies and it has been very fulfilling. I decided to make this my full-time job, breeding healthy puppies, and making hearts full.What makes your program special?
All of our puppies are treated like family. I genetically test my dogs to ensure that they will have healthy puppies. I trained all of my puppies to be social and happy with good manners.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include tricolor, black, liver, blue, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $1,400 - $2,600 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes up-to-date vaccinations, and deworming, microchip, vet exam, and a one year health guarantee. Puppy deposit is immediately reimbursed if I am unable to convey the dog of your choice. Otherwise deposit is non refundable. All dog payments are non refundable unless puppy of your choice is unavailable.”

Stephanie is so responsive when inquiring about one of her Shih Tzu puppies. One can tell she is very knowledgeable about the Shih Tzu breed, and she loves and truly cares about each one of the puppies and only wants to home the puppies for life to the family who expresses the "for life" love toward their puppy. The transaction through Good Dog was exceptional. A wonderful experience for such a rewarding new addition to the family. Lily is a very healthy, energetic and loving companion. We have only had Lily a couple of days and have fallen in love with her. My family/friends that see Lily want to take her home.
