I'm Julia M., the breeder behind Pup Paw-lace located in Houston, TX. Our hope is to prepare each of our puppies with thoughtful socialization so they have the best foundation to seamlessly transition into their new homes.To our knowledge our sires and dams are Shih tzus, it’s not a guarantee since they are NOT AKC/CKC registered, reason why they are a great price.

Why did you start breeding?
My family has bred dogs since I was little. We've bred Rottweilers, Terriers, American staffordshires, Labrador Retrievers, and now shih tzus. We do breed as a hobby and only breed the same dam 3 or 2 times, afterwards we spay her to make sure she won't get pregnant.What makes your program special?
I take my time to care for each puppy, I make sure to take them to the vet and get them a complete health check , dewormer and vaccines. I show them love and socialization from early on so they can get used to other dogs, cats and even babies.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include tricolor and black gold and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $150 non-refundable deposit and between $750 - $1,050 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Julia was wonderful throughout the whole process. She was always communicating with me throughout the weeks before we brought our baby home and would send weekly updates and pictures. Once Mochi came home, she provided detailed instructions on her feeding schedule, vaccinations, socializations, etc. She also provided a puppy care package with food, toys, and other accessories. Even now, Julia is always available to answer questions and checks-in often.☺️🐶🩷

Waylon... my sweet spirited boy! Julia did such a good job with him. I can see how much he was loved while she had him. She sent me pictures and videos every Friday, and then anytime something cool happened. His first time walking, barking, when his eyes opened. It was like getting a puppy from a close friend. Always eager and willing to chat about him. I think we have a full house now, but if I ever decide I want a fuller house I will definitely go with Julia's babies again. She was also so generous with the bag full of everything she sent home with us. I didn't have to do any shopping at all. She had everything he needed plus more! I'm just so happy with the whole process. Five star rating for sure!
