I'm Vicki S., the breeder behind Quail Ridge Farm located in San Juan Bautista, CA. We offer quality bred family dogs. We hand raise each of our puppies to ensure a reliable temperament & cherished companionship. We love being breeders and seeing our dogs thrive. It's so fulfilling to see the positive effect that a beloved, furry companion has on his or her family.

Why did you start breeding?
I have always been invested in the well-being of animals. I wanted to give back to the breed by breeding healthy pups and placing them into loving homes.What makes your program special?
I truly love the Cocker Spaniel breed and am dedicated to looking out for the breed as a whole. I am committed to helping all of my adoptive families prepare for their new puppy as well as stay connected and mentor them throughout their journey. I love seeing puppy updates and seeing my puppies thrive in their forever homes.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include buff, black and tan, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Vicki has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
“All of our puppies are the same price, regardless of color or sex. Once buyer has been approved there will be a $500 deposit to hold a puppy. Payment in full is due before the puppy is picked up.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Buddy is GR CH QUAIL RIDGE PARTY TILL YOU DROP CGC. He is the son of Charlie, GCHG CH FOLEY'S FRAT PARTY CGC, the number one ASCOB in the country the last several years. He has his Dad's happy go lucky personality and loves it all. Very devoted to me, he is my heart dog.

Mariah is a beautiful black cocker female, her dad was black and her mom was a buff. She has produced buff, black and black and tan puppies.
Parent health testing
Excellent level
Quail Ridge Farm reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Cocker Spaniels.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
PRA, Cone-Rod Dystrophy 1 (PRA-crd1), Full Embark Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
