I'm Janet Q., the breeder behind Queen’s Family Dachshunds located in Salem, OR. We work hard to produce healthy, well-rounded Dachshund puppies that will make others as happy as our dogs have made us! We commit ourselves towards preparing each one of our puppies to thrive in their new homes, and we enjoy working with their new families so that they can raise their beloved companions with confidence!

Why did you start breeding?
We bought our beautiful blue and tan girls and just knew we wanted her to have a litter. We fell in love with the process and love producing beautiful pups.What makes your program special?
We are a small family breeder. We breed our own family dogs that live in our house (and sleep in our beds).What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Janet has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $2,200 - $2,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price includes a two year health guarantee. They come with health check from vet, first round of shots. Puppies can be AKC registered. All parents are registered AKC. . Deposit is to hold your pick of the litter. Deposit is non-refundable.”
Contract & health guarantee
Janet may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. X-Linked Progressive Retinal Atrophy (XL-PRA)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
