Meet the breeder

I'm Jordan E., the breeder behind Quiet Cove Kennels located in Orland, ME. We are Lab and Aussie enthusiasts and focus on producing fully heath/ortho-tested (CHIC) dogs with stable temperaments and a working drive. We love all things dog sports (hunt test for labs) and especially love Scentwork and Rally!

Q. & A. with Jordan

  • Why did you start breeding?

I grew up in Maine around my father's dog breeding program. His focus was breeding high-caliber, all-around bird dogs. This ignited my passion for breeding biddable, sound, versatile dogs, leading me to the Austrailian Shepherd along with continuing my passion for Labrador Retrievers.
  • What makes your program special?

First and foremost, we love our dogs! Our program focuses on health (CHIC+) and temperament. All puppies will be raised on Puppy Culture surrounded by our pack, on our five acres of lakefront in rural Maine, ensuring they get the best foundation possible.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
