Q. & A. with Makala
Why did you start breeding?
In 2020 I lost my very first Toy Aussie to a horrible accident we had on our farm. She came into my life on a whim and I wasn’t looking for a puppy. when I was ready for my heart to have another, finding a healthy, sociable puppy was a challenge. I love this breed and want to contribute and cater to them getting what they deserve!
What makes your program special?
This is a tough question. But I would have to say my environment. I live on a farm where so much exposure is available but just a few miles away is a small town where they can go and get used to all the sounds of that as well. I have so many different animals and kids there’s not much my little guys and gals will be timid of when they go to their new homes!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black tri, red merle, and red tri. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
