Why did you start breeding?
When I was a vet tech, I bought my first dachshund from a client. Ever since, weenies have become our world and we wanted to share that passion with others!What makes your program special?
Our weenies come with us everywhere! They’re not just breeders in a kennel, they travel everywhere with us and enjoy life with us! We pride ourselves with producing correct, well tempered mini weenies that enjoy being out in social setting and being around small children. We know that dachshunds have a reputation of being snappy with kids, but we breed in family friendly pets that you can trust!What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Lexi partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Litter update on 30 July, 2:46 PM •…Breakfast with the puppies. They’re let out of their crates and out into their pen for breakfast and potty time! And some obvious play time 💗 They got their new collars put on as well ! Some awesome personalities in this litter 💗

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
