We had the loveliest experience with Ronnie and RAM’s Kennels. All of their dogs were clearly well-socialized and so loved; evidently treated as not just dogs but part of Ronnie and Janie’s family. Our puppy was already half housebroken when we brought him home at eight weeks, which is a real testament to Ronnie’s excellent care and early training. Ronnie welcomed our family into his home with open arms, allowing us to visit multiple times before making our decision. We met both of the puppy’s beautiful parents and all of Ronnie’s other dogs, who were all happy, healthy, and clearly very well cared for. He also insisted we see the whelping and kennel areas where the puppies were born—both were spotless, spacious, and well maintained. A true hallmark of a responsible, gold-standard breeder. Our puppy is beautiful, calm, and friendly. He has fit right in to our family and with our resident Daschund. He is incredibly intuitive and socially intelligent, clearly due to being raised around social adult dogs. Ronnie is clearly in this for the right reasons—the health, temperament, and quality of the breed. We truly don’t have enough good things to say about him. 🐶💖

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ram’s Kennels is simply best in class, deserving an infinity star rating! If you are looking for a lovable dachshund puppy with a great temperament from an excellent breeder, you need to contact Ronnie. Ronnie and Janie went above and beyond while we worked together. We remained in regular communication and they sent me so many sweet pictures of my pup since I live in a different state and couldn’t visit! They were and are super responsive. We FaceTimed multiple times — both so I could see the pups and so they could answer my questions/give me tips on preparing to bring puppy home! Before pick-up, Ronnie and Janie communicated with me about my plans for crate training. They began crate training my puppy, Eloise, several days before pick-up so I could have an easier transition with her at home. Once at home, Eloise cried for about five minutes or so in the crate before falling asleep. Literal angel baby!! With consistency going out every 2.5hrs or so, the second day she was home she didn’t have any accidents inside. She is also going potty outside nearly on command (with lots of treats and positive reinforcement). Our first week home, she has been averaging about two accidents inside each day, but that’s on a potty pad because Ronnie and Janie helped to train the pups before going home! For a ten week old puppy, I am super impressed! During the first week home, Eloise has also learned sit, lay, and is beginning to learn stay. She caught on super fast and is an intelligent little girl! I attribute that to Ronnie’s and Janie’s passion for all their dogs and the fact that Eloise was reared with their other doxies! Pick-up also went super great!! Ronnie and Janie met me at the airport with the pup! Since I am from out of town, they brought me to Tim Hortons so the pup could go out, then we reviewed all info I needed to know about the pup (vaccines, microchip, travel papers, dos/donts, quirks about Eloise, you name it!). At the conclusion, we went back to the airport and Ronnie and Janie helped me make sure I was ready to travel with my carrier and Eloise’s care package (blanket and toy with scents from her mom and litter mate). She did spectacularly well flying her first time. The passengers around me thought she was the cutest thing and she slept on my lap the majority of the flight, no accidents and minimal crying 💞 Eloise came to me extremely well trained, socialized with other dogs, people, and was accustomed to traveling via car which translated well to flying in an airplane! While every pup has their own personality, you can expect that you will pick up a well socialized (dogs and people), loved, and well cared for dachshund. Thank you, Ronnie and Janie!! Eloise has been the greatest gift and I can’t wait to form so many more memories with such a sweet girl!
