I'm Randal H., the breeder behind Randal'sDachshunds located in Colony, KS. I retired in 2025 and had always wanted to breed my bird dogs, then I got my first dacshund, who doesn't want a lapdog who thinks you hung the moon. Our dogs are all part of the family and we want to share the breed with others.

Why did you start breeding?
I always wanted to breed dogs. I was working with someone who was breeding the dacshunds and began my journey at the end of 2024 with one of his females and a male we found on Gooddog. Added another girl from him and later another female through Gooddog.What makes your program special?
We carefully selected a variety of colors, long and short hair, so far we are not disappointed.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
