I'm Michelle H., the breeder behind Real Yorkies of NorCal located in Concord, CA. We offer top quality Yorkshire Terriers from a loving home! We focus on improving the breed standard and breeding healthy pups. I grew up with German Shepherds and Border Collies. But, Yorkshire Terriers always had my heart. I do everything I can as a breeder to breed top-quality dogs.

    I have loved animals from a very young age. I grew up with dogs and have witnessed the joy their companionship brings. I wanted to serve others by breeding loving, healthy Yorkies for others.

  • What makes your program special?

    My Yorkies are my babies. They live in my home with me and are treated like royalty. I put my heart and would into my breeding program. I am dedicated to producing the best of the best.

Getting a puppy from Michelle

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $1,000 non-refundable deposit and $2,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes all veterinary care for the puppies until they go home, shots, deworming, tail docked and dew claws removed. Microchipped. Health guarantee. AKC Registration papers. Puppy package. This is a deposit to hold an upcoming puppy. This deposit holds a puppy of your gender preference. If there is not a puppy of your gender preference, this deposit will be held for the next litter.”

Michelle may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
