I'm Cheri H., the breeder behind Rebellion Labradors located in Fombell, PA. Temperament is vital—a Labrador must be friendly and outgoing. We do all health tests available for Labradors to ensure you are acquiring the healthiest puppy possible. Puppies are raised in our living room from day one, ensuring optimal socialization. We follow the AKC breed standard and set high standards for our breeding program.
Q. & A. with Cheri
Why did you start breeding?
My first job as an adult was for a well known Labrador breeding kennel. It was from this breeder that I acquired my first three dogs, including my foundation female, Naya. I joined the Greater Pittsburgh Labrador Retriever Club to learn from the breeders and dog sport enthusiasts, prior to breeding my first litter.
What makes your program special?
I thoroughly enjoy watching a conformation titled dog work in the field. In my opinion, a Labrador should be able to go from the show ring in the morning to the field in the afternoon.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
