I'm Alysia J., the breeder behind Red Barn Farms Minis located in Mcminnville, TN. We are a reputable breeder of Miniature Dachshunds in McMinnville, TN. We strive for happy, healthy puppies in a variety of colors, patterns, & coats. We offer to meet in some local areas within 1hr free of charge such as Sparta, Lebanon, Murfreesboro, & Manchester, TN.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Dachshunds have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I haven't been without a dachshund since I was 7yrs old when the love began with my very first dachshund. I began breeding as an older teenager with my family, and ventured out on my own as a young adult as I strive to produce quality over quantity.

  • What makes your program special?

    We began working on our dilute lines in 2017, and have been working for nearly a decade on producing dilutes without CDA (color dilution alopecia) which is common in many dilute lines. Genetics have always been a interest of mine even prior to beginning my breeding journey. All of our dogs are raised in our home with us and have access to our large fenced in yard through our doggie door.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, red, black, chocolate, fawn (isabella), brindle, fawn (isabella) and tan, fawn (isabella) and cream, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, blue and tan, blue and cream, black and tan, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,800 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
