About LUCILLE
Lucille is has been tested through Embark and is clear other than 1 copy of DCM1 which does not and should not impact breeding decisions. She is EDS clear. She is 1 of 5 alapahas that is CHIC certified through OFA. She has OFA Good hips, OFA Normal elbows, OFA Normal Cardiac. She is the 2021 ABBA Nat'l Gr Champion She was extremely easy to train and is wonderful with kids. She gets along with some females, but is the dominant one, so can only be around more submissive females. Gets along with males just fine.

About RIP
RIP is genetically clear of all conditions tested in Embark. He is EDS clear. He has OFA Good Hips, OFA Normal Elbows, OFA Normal Cardiac. He is 1 of 5 alapahas that are CHIC certified through OFA. Great family dog. He loves all our females, but isn't too fond of other males. He is great with kids. He's athletic and has the stamina to work.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
