Q. & A. with Laura
Why did you start breeding?
In 1991 I got my first Australian Shepherd and joined the San Diego Obedience Club and the Agility Club of San Diego. From there I became addicted to competing with my dog. From there I started showing in conformation and finished my first champion in 1995. Breeding was something that came along later into my dog career. I took it seriously and took my time being mentored by other breeders.
What makes your program special?
I have over 25 ASCA and AKC champions combined in the breed. I do all the health testing, OFA hips, and elbows, eye certification, well puppy checks and work with the potential buyers on being successful in training their Aussie.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
