I'm Redfearn R., the breeder behind Redfearn Retrievers located in Newport, OR. We are family owned, family ran, and family driven. Our goal is to produce stable, happy, healthy, quality dogs that deserve to be loved as much as they love us. Our dogs are our customers best friends, camping companions, bed hogs, alarm systems, service dogs, hunting buddies and feet warmers.
Q. & A. with Redfearn
Why did you start breeding?
My father bred and trained dogs for as long as I can remember. As a little girl I would tag along with my dad on opening day of pheasant season, watching the dog work was amazing.
What makes your program special?
Our goal is to produce happy, healthy, quality dogs that deserve to be loved as much as they love us. Our dogs are our customers best friends, camping companions, bed hogs, alarm systems, service dogs, hunting buddies and feet warmers. Our goal is not to breed show quality specimens, our pets do not live outside in kennels, and we do not brag about, or focus on championship blood lines.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Labrador Retriever puppies are chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
