Meet the breeder

I'm Yanet L., the breeder behind Redland Dachshund Grove located in Homestead, FL. We pride ourselves on ethically breeding Miniature Longhaired Dachshunds. We use health and genetic testing to ensure excellent pairings and wonderful temperaments. Our puppies are home-raised, desensitized to household and environmental noises, so they can thrive as your healthy, happy best friend.

Q. & A. with Yanet

  • Why did you start breeding?

I decided to breed because I truly wanted to experience the joy of birthing and raising litters firsthand. With the loving support of my family, I focus on raising well-socialized puppies right in our home. I love being a part of their journey from day one and passing that wonderful dachshund magic onto others.

  • What makes your program special?

I pride myself on providing a truly hands-on, family-raised environment. Our dachshunds are our pets first. Because I involve my whole family in the process, our puppies receive endless love, handling, and early socialization. This constant interaction in our loving home ensures they are exceptionally well-adjusted, confident, and completely ready for their forever families.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include cream, chocolate and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

We are so grateful we found Yanet. She really cares about her puppies and took amazing care of Winnie. Yanet is super attentive and is always quick to respond no matter the time or the question. As soon as we saw Winnie we knew she was the puppy for us. Once we reserved her Yanet would send daily updates with pictures or videos so that we would be always updated. Yanet is amazing at what she does and is super knowledgeable in the breed. We are so thankful of Yanet.
