  • Why did you start breeding?

    Here at Regal Maltese, we started breeding after showing and finishing the championship of our first showgirl, Bri. We caught the show bug, and the rest is history. We desire to see the Maltese breed flourish in the future and view breeding as a way to ensure that happens.

  • What makes your program special?

    Each litter is selectively planned with close attention to pedigree, consistency, and long-term improvement. We evaluate bloodlines carefully and prioritize health across generations. We have been fortunate to establish long-term working friendships with some of the best Maltese breeders in the world, including Divine (Angela Stanberry), Ta-Jon (Tammy Simon), and Validian Maltese (Peter Rogers).

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Eric

Eric has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Eric partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We pride ourselves on placing puppies with the correct family. It is very important to us that the puppy’s temperament fits the needs of its new home. ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $500 - $4,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“This price includes age appropriate puppy shots, a veterinarian physical and exam, and AKC registration. Deposits are usually 20% of the total price of the individual puppy.”

Contract & health guarantee

Eric may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Eric offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Eric directly.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Vet Wellness Exam

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
